Henry Shreibman, PhD, Rabbi, DD
Henry Shreibman has been a professor over the last 14 years at Dominican University, Sonoma State, and UC Davis in Comparative Religion, History, Ethics, and Philosophy. Throughout his career, Shreibman has been recognized for his service as an outstanding professional and educator. He received the Executive of the Year Award from Bay Area JCF in 2000. In 2008, he was Teacher of the Year at Dominican University and received Faculty Advisor of the Year, Excellence in Diversity Award in Spring 2018. He served as the Head of School of Brandeis Hillel Day School for 13 years and was on the board of the California Association of Independent Schools. In March 2013, he was among “American’s Most Inspiring Rabbis” by the Jewish Daily Forward. Shreibman has developed and taught: JWST 255: Evolution of Anti-Semitism, JWST 355: Modern European Jewish History: 1492 to present, JWST 200: Intro to Jewish Studies.
